Tons of Tigers

To say I love tigers is pushing it.

Well, I do love the stripes of them, and the grace of them, and the wonderful design of them as created by a mighty God. In fact, I have clothes, shoes, watches, bags, and other accessories with tiger prints; I just can't get enough of tiger stripes.

But in truth, I am scared of tigers.

This I found out when the whole family came face-to-fangs with tons of tigers at Zoobic Safari. Adrian was in his elements with loud squeals of excitement every step of the way. Everyone else was a bit more subdued, but just as excited when a photo-op with the “tamed” big cat came around.

I morphed into a cat, too, but a scaredy one and stayed away.

It turned out that the photo-op was nothing compared to the van ride into the wilds. JB decided to buy a whole chicken to feed the tigers and to make the ride even more thrilling.

My fears notwithstanding, I really had a whale (I mean, tiger) of a time with a courageous family—led by a six-year-old warrior who fears nothing, not even predators ten times his size in the jungle.

OMG! Ms. Grace, here in Thailand, tigers are monk's bestfriend. They're tamed, unleashed and friendly.

I guess it's their size and sound that make them so scary. Hahaha!
