A Quiet Day

I would like to spend the day quietly. My eldest cousin, Esther, just left to be with the Lord. In our last clan reunion, which I chaired, Manang Esther came. She was in a wheelchair (having just undergone surgery) but she came anyway, and participated in all activities for three days.

Never would have I guessed it would be her last reunion with us on earth, as she is now attending a grander reunion with other loved ones in that perfect place where Grace reigns and where we will also be, someday, when our appointed time comes.
