24/7 Roving CCTV

Watching police stories on TV makes one wonder how these crime busters could operate without a CCTV (closed-circuit television). They rely on this equipment heavily when tracing the movements of a murder suspect or anyone who violates the law.  

Unfortunately, many suspects are able to escape and disappear because CCTVs can’t be everywhere—not in: dark, narrow alleys; spaces between buildings; or a wide parking lot. The elusive and tricky culprits know how not to get caught. And they certainly know that they can commit a crime over and over again and walk away scot-free.  

Ah, but they will definitely be caught and be held accountable. The divine Audio-video Roving 24/7 CCTV hears and sees all. 

God sees everything we do and hears everything we say every moment of the day. Hebrews 4:13 (NLT) says, “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.” 

In Proverbs 15:3, we are told that “The LORD is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good.” 

With Him, every crime is solved and judged. What’s even more reassuring is that the reverse is true. God sees and hears all the good things we do. “. . . the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.” (Psalm 33:18-19) 

God protects and rescues His children who may be in trouble.

I take comfort in knowing that God sees everything that happens in the world—no bad or good deeds escape Him. How do I thank Him for being with me all the seconds, minutes, and hours of my day?
